Founder Story: Born from Deep Experience

RippleAbility is more than a service; it is an evolving legacy born from the personal, lived experience of our founder, Monique Power. Monique's own journey with her child, who lives with an extremely rare and complex disability, illuminated the significant gaps in paediatric disability support and ignited a fierce passion to create the connected, compassionate ecosystem every family deserves.

Co-founded by Monique and Claire Falloux, whose combined passion and strong business acumen gave the company life, RippleAbility was established to empower families to access and optimize their NDIS plans.

As a female-led disability support organization, our service is personal. We know and understand, first-hand, the struggles, obstacles, and challenges associated with caring for a child with different abilities. We started RippleAbility so that no other family would feel alone, confused, or overwhelmed in seeking support.

    Monique is a carer, advocate, and community leader. She founded RippleAbility after navigating life with her daughter Emmilou, who lives with a rare, complex condition — turning lived experience into action for families like hers.

    Managing Director & Co-Founder

    Claire is a strategic powerhouse and natural connector, bringing over a decade of leadership experience across teams, HR, and service partnerships. With personal insight into disability through her family, she’s driven by a deep passion for inclusion and impact.

  • Dr. Michelle Olaithe

    Clinical Director

    Michelle is a registered psychologist, researcher, and founder of The Sleep Psychologist. With deep expertise in trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming care, she leads RippleAbility’s clinical direction with clarity, compassion, and evidence-based insight.

  • Cassandra Power

    Projects Officer

    Cassie brings energy, empathy and a gift for storytelling to RippleAbility. With a background in visual storytelling and producing, and a passion for lived experience narratives, she leads our creative projects and shares the voices that too often go unheard.

    James is the creative mind behind RippleAbility’s digital presence and smooth operations. With a background in psychology, tech, and design, he ensures every interaction with RippleAbility is thoughtful, accessible, and beautifully executed.

    Belinda brings 20+ years of expertise in quality management, training, and compliance across WA and NSW. With razor-sharp precision and a warm, grounded approach, she ensures RippleAbility stays accountable, ethical, and always audit-ready.

    Wellbeing & Culture Advisor

    Stevie-Mish is RippleAbility’s founding creative and the voice behind its heart. Now a mum herself, she brings deep empathy, storytelling magic, and a lived understanding of care. She continues to guide our vision and culture with warmth and clarity.

RippleAbility exists to serve community benefit — not private gain. We’re a proudly female-owned, for-purpose organisation that believes in modelling what a fairer, more inclusive disability sector could look like.

We are currently recognised as an Accredited Carer-Friendly Employer, and we operate as a social enterprise by investing our time, resources, and profits into services, advocacy, and systemic improvements that benefit families of children with disability — not just ourselves.

This means we:

  • Prioritise social impact in every decision we make — from who we partner with to how we show up in the community.

  • Reinvest our surplus into programs, projects, and supports that address systemic barriers and gaps in the existing systems.

  • Back ethical finance, choosing to bank only with institutions that do not invest in fossil fuels and actively offset their carbon footprint.

  • Minimise waste and reduce emissions, through paperless operations, remote-first teams, and eco-conscious printing practices.

  • Support economic equity, by ensuring women, carers, and people with lived experience are meaningfully employed, represented, and heard.

This is just the beginning — but we believe purpose shouldn’t be a footnote in business. It should be the foundation.
