Welcome to The Ripple

Hi! Hello and welcome to The Ripple (or blogs)! This is our all-time favourite section of the website! Here is where our company’s Ripple can expand and touch yours. You can share it and send it to someone close to you, and so on. This is the core of our village, and we are so excited to share it with you.

Within this space you have the Ability to stay connected with like-minded people, stay up to date with any relevant and topical NDIS updates or news, and indulge in heart-warming stories of fellow participants and friends. Whatever your reason for accessing RippleAbility’s website, be it to feel less isolated and more understood, to gain knowledge for your own betterment or the betterment of your family, or just to take some time out and have a read of some content that isn’t your usual ‘crime detective’ series; its all here for you. And we are so excited to have you.

The RippleFamily Survival Guide

Hello beautiful human! My name is James, and I’m the Head Problem Solver at RippleAbility (yes, that is my official title). As part of my role, I help solve problems in the background for our team to ensure we can continue supporting our families with grace and ease. This year though, I wanted to give back to our families and their children and offer my free insight on all things NDIS to you, and anyone you think could benefit. So pour yourself a cup of tea, or coffee as my preference, (or even a glass of wine!) and join me in the RippleFamily Survival Guide (because some days it certainly feels like we need one).

Emmilou’s Disability Journey

Emmilou is the inspiration for RippleAbility. She is the eldest daughter of our founder: Monique - and she is the embodiment of a child living with different abilities. Her incredible journey of self-discovery, her ability to tackle challenging adversity and resilience in breaking barriers to the NDIS is documented here. Be inspired, indulge in Emmilou’s Experiences.

NDIS in the News

In keeping our promise to stay up to date on the goings on in the NDIS, this blog is where our team shares their insights on the latest goings on in the National Disability Insurance Agency. Here we aim to distill the most important information showing up in the news so you can stay informed. We also share inspiring stories of how this amazing community is helping shape the future of the NDIS with strong advocacy and a united voice.

If you spot anything in the news you think we should be giving some attention to, feel free to draw our attention to it!

CareSpec

These blogs are our most treasured pieces on our website. They are the legacies of our children with different abilities, and the quintessence of our promise to focus on our ABILITES rather than our disadvantages.

In here we share the stories of our participants, we celebrate their triumphs and sympathise with their challenges. It is because of these stories that we are able to create such a beautiful village of support for ourselves full of encouragement, guidance and LOVE. This is a safe space, we do not condone any form of discrimination and we have zero tolerance towards ableism.
