Yes, our psychology services can be rebated through both Medicare and private health insurance. Contact us to learn more about eligibility and how to access these rebates.
To claim psychology sessions under Medicare, you’ll need a referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician as part of a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). With this plan, you can access up to 10 individual sessions per year, and Medicare will cover part of the cost. After your initial sessions, your GP will review your progress to determine if additional sessions are needed. Be sure to bring your referral to your psychologist to access these Medicare rebates.

That’s completely okay! We’re parents too, and for many of us the idea of speaking to a psychologist was pretty intimidating at first. Many of our parents and carers are new to therapy and our therapists totally get this. Our psychologists create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you can talk openly and receive the support you need.
-
All of our therapy sessions are completely confidential. As APS registered psychologists, all of our practitioners adhere to strict privacy standards outlined in the APS Code of Ethics, ensuring your personal information and conversations are kept secure.
-
In your first session, the psychologist will take time to get to know you, understand your situation, and work with you to create a plan that fits your specific needs. You’ll have the opportunity to share your concerns and set goals for future sessions.
-
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or unsure about your own wellbeing, therapy could be a great way to gain support and clarity. Our psychologists will work with you to create a safe and supportive space where you can address any challenges.
If you still have reservations, you're more than welcome to contact us at info@rippleability.org, or give us a call and we will do our best to address your concerns.
